Our Story
Spiritwood is a private orchard retreat in Makarau, set among native bush with wide views across the valley.
Designed for privacy and simplicity, the cabin is intentionally small, quiet, and removed. It is a place to slow down, reset, and properly switch off.
Everything has been built around space, calm, and the outdoor experience, with the spa, sauna, and ice bath forming the core of the stay.

The stay was amazing!! My partner and I absolutely loved it and all the amenities!
Spa just completely made our day and it was extremely clean!
Very peaceful and relaxing stay, just what we needed to unwind.
The host is sooo lovely and made our stay very special.
Definitely would come back and I highly recommend this place 🥰

"We had a lovely relaxing one night stay at Fallon’s place - the accommodation is beautifully built and decorated and is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The sauna, hot tub and ice bath are undoubtedly a highlight and we enjoyed the peaceful and private forest view - especially on a chilly morning! I would definitely recommend Fallon’s place to anyone looking for an escape from the city to relax and recharge.

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend hideaway! It is a lovely guesthouse surrounded by native bush away from the city. The sauna and spa were amazing and very clean! The kitchenette was complete with pots, pans, coffee machine, electric stove, airfryer and all the utensils you could need. We also loved the BBQ and the deck outside. Would love to come back!
